Testimonials
Our customers provide the best testament to our unique advantages as a convention destination. Here is what they have to say about their Boston experience.
Boston Advantages
"Boston's customer service was outstanding. I was extremely impressed by the extra steps that their team took to learn about our business and fully understand our needs from start to finish. The entire city embraced our show and partnered with us to exceed expectations, which we did. Our Boston show was one of the best in 48 years!"
Salvatore J. Chiarelli

"Boston has hosted our meetings before and ALWAYS does a great job. The Bureau, the BCEC and the hospitality community do a great job and understand the importance of this meeting and its attendees."

"Boston's customer service was absolutely wonderful. I have never seen such teamwork. Whatever the situation or the challenge, they find solutions. Their team did an amazing job to help with some unexpected transportation challenges. They came up with innovative solutions for our attendees and kept us informed every step of the way. We left Boston feeling incredibly happy. They earned an A+."

"APMA hosted our largest annual scientific meeting ever in Boston. Both our attendance numbers and exhibit numbers well exceeded our past meetings, and we hope this to be an indication of the future."

"We love doing events in Boston. It's our hometown, and a great show town. The entire public sector and the event industry are very supportive here, and we've always found that people look forward to visiting Boston for all of the typical attractions, seasonal and otherwise."

BCEC Advantages
"The BIO International Convention was held at the BCEC in 2007. Boston is an important city for us since we have so many member companies based in Massachusetts. The BCEC is a beautiful building; we enjoyed the facilities and found the BCEC staff to be knowledgeable, flexible, and easy to work with. When planning our event, the GBCVB was extremely helpful with extensive site visits in the city; they were well organized with appointments and an itinerary in advance so that we could accomplish a lot in just a few days. The 2007 convention set attendance records, and the exhibitors and attendees were very happy with the event. We are looking forward to our return in 2012."

"The AAO Annual Session can only be held in ten cities in North America due to its size and scope. Boston, with its new convention center and headquarters hotel became one of the ten cities overnight. Boston has the history, facilities and local support (four orthodontic schools in the Boston area) to provide a wonderful experience for the AAO members."
Dr. Raymond George, Jr.
American Association of Orthodontists
"The BCEC allows us to have one central CE Pavilion in the main lobby and four satellite pavilions in the exhibition halls. Our members can come out of class and plug in their CE credits in a computing network connected to multiple locations. It's a great service and the technology of the BCEC lets us do it."

"November 2009 was Bank Administration Institute's first time in Boston for our largest conference/expo. The BCEC was an excellent facility and Boston was a major attraction for attendees from all around the globe. The staff was professional, proactive and one of the best teams we've ever worked with at a convention center facility. The proximity of the hotels and the attraction of Boston nightlife was also a major benefit."
James M. McNeil
Executive Vice President
Bank Administration Institute
"The BCEC is a wonderful venue. The layout, cleanliness and the people who work there are true professionals. Being a local Bostonian all my life and having the opportunity to stay at the Westin Waterfront was a real treat. I love Boston, and now I love it even more after seeing it from an attendee's point of view."

"We are very pleased that we have booked our 2014 Annual Conference at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center. Our annual conference brings together more than 7,000 employee benefits practitioners and we know that our attendees will love being in Boston and the Waterfront area. The BCEC has everything that we look for when we are hosting a conference and that coupled with Boston's attraction as a tourist destination will help make our event a huge success."

Hynes Advantages
"The Hynes is the perfect venue for medical meetings to convene. Boston offers great accessibility for attendees, including our international participants. Our attendees love the fact that the city's restaurants and cultural attractions are all so close to the Hynes. Boston is also home to many prestigious hospitals and medical schools; so many professionals, fellows and trainees are located right there. And to top it off, the customer service Boston offers is among the very best. I've been spoiled."
Pam Ballinger
Vice President of Meetings and Exhibits
Association Headquarters
"The Hynes Event Services staff was an integral part of my "team" and played a large role in guaranteeing the success of the 2010 NACA Convention. Their attention to detail and willingness to find solutions to issues instead of merely bring forth problems was refreshing. We look forward to our event in 2014 because of the service we received this year."
Dawn B. Thomas
Director of Event Services and Member Relations
National Association for Campus Activities
"The Hynes is right in the city center, connected to great hotels, and so ideally located. It's such a compact facility but has the exhibit halls and meeting room space to accommodate our entire event including breakout sessions."
Pam Reisinger
Director of Meetings
American Association of Law Libraries
"The Hynes Convention Center was a perfect fit for the American Academy of Dermatology's 2009 Summer Academy Meeting. The sales team understood our programming and logistical needs, the size of the facility was just right, and the location benefits of Boston and the Hynes sealed the deal. Not only was the city's geographic location easily accessible to our many members via various modes of transportation, but the Hynes' downtown locale put our attendees in the center of the city, surrounded by countless hotels, restaurants, cultural attractions and shopping."
Timothy A. Moses, CMP
Director, Meetings & Conventions
American Academy of Dermatology
"The United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology held its 98th Annual Meeting at the Hynes Convention Center in March of 2009 and set an all-time record for attendance. Boston has a wonderful setup with easy access to the Hynes Convention Center, hotels, shopping and restaurants all conveniently located under one roof. The hotel and convention center staff all worked diligently to ensure our meeting was a success, which it clearly was-that's why we've already rebooked for a future meeting!"

"There are many reasons why CTAM chose the Hynes for its July 2006 event. The intimacy of the Hynes is perfect for our 3,400 attendees. The building is so compact and so well laid out that it really contributes to the smooth flow of our event. And of course the location is outstanding. The convenience of having several great hotels directly attached to the Hynes is a huge benefit. Our attendees can easily walk from their rooms to the conference sessions, make the most of their time, and be just steps from the great restaurants and other options Boston has to offer. For CTAM, the Hynes is a great solution."

"We had a wonderful experience at the Hynes. If we could, we would come back and use it again, but we've outgrown the space. It is such a fabulous setup for our attendees. They really enjoyed the convenience of the facility, hotels and restaurants. Overall, we had a very successful meeting in Boston. Our attendees loved the city and everything it has to offer. It is a great fit for our group. I hope that we will find the BCEC a good fit for the future."

Hotel Relations Advantages
"Judy Sheng and her team help us get the most competitive rates, push for additional rooms when we need them, and make our overall hotel package tighter. They're so knowledgeable about the hotels and which are the right fit for each program, and they're able to offer great solutions that cover everything from room blocks to specialized services. They saved us a lot of time!"

"All I can say is that when it comes to hotel services and solutions, Boston is terrific and wonderful. They're responsive, they direct me to the right source, and they're always willing to step in and solve a challenge themselves." The AFT biennial convention is also coming to Boston and the BCEC this July with over 12,000 hotel nights."
