IT Services
IT Services at the Hynes deliver the most advanced technical services of any convention facility in the world. Our full-time and experienced network staff, led by certified network professionals, are available on request to manage all IT systems to support your event, event infrastructure and external connections.
Network Services
Network services include state-of-the-art networking capabilities and high-speed internet connectivity including free WI-FI throughout the facility. A switched 100 MB Ethernet Local Area Network (LAN) is connected to multiple T-3s. Each meeting room, public area and exhibit hall floor box or column has Category 5 twisted pair and fiber optic cabling.
Telecommunications
The Hynes offers cell phone coverage throughout. Telecommunications includes telephones with single- and multi-line service. Complimentary handsets are provided for each single-line service ordered. Special services such as call waiting and voice mail are available. The telephone system is capable of servicing over 4,000 separate numbers, 300 digital, and 800 analog handsets.
Teleconferencing and Videoconferencing
Teleconferencing service is available in all exhibit halls and meeting rooms. A single line is required for use. Videoconferencing is available using ISDN lines. ISDN lines are ordered through an AT&T 5ESS switch and are available for voice, data and video.
Apps
MyHynes iPhone, Blackberry, Android, and iPad applications are now offered to support you and your attendees.
